Jackson Hole Jaggernauts!
Jackson has their very own Roller Derby! any of you seen the movie "Whip it"? such a good movie love that actress she was also in "Juno" another good one...anyhoo I didn't know people still did Roller Derby's until I met some roller derby girls while playing on a bowling league {they bowl too...they are pretty awesome chicas!}
I think I should get some roller-skates this year and go rollerskating! how cool would that be...haven't done that since....lets just say way back when. after watching the roller derby even kiddlets want roller-skates...but big problem with living in wyoming is where can one go rollerskating? maybe someone should invent an off road type roller-skate..with bigger wheels so you can go on mountain bike trails or something like that...or maybe not.
Roller Derby games make for a fun family night here in the J-hole. so if anyone comes for a visit this summer you should look them up and attend one of their games! makes for a smashing grand time.
Newest addition to the fam
As I play a little catch up on the blog I need to introduce a new little member to this small but ever growing family of ours. when we first met this lil guy he was only 3 weeks old, we had no idea what we were going to name him...I called him Buster Bear one day and kiddlet W & D heard me and it just kinda stuck...
we first met him at 3 weeks old,
got to bring him home at 5 weeks old,
he is now 11 weeks,
his birthday is march 4th.
this lil guy is growing way too fast.
I would like to introduce Buster Bear our new "Brother" ...as kiddlet W would say..

Fish stories told here
I swear in wyoming we skip spring all together, one day its snowing and the next everything is green and its 70 degrees outside. we go from winter to summer in just a few days. fishing, hiking, camping, BBQ's, Smore's, and tons of family fun season is HERE! Summertime!
we took a little family morning trip to the lake to do some fishing and kiddlet W caught a fish {he will tell with his hands stretched out that is was just a medium size...and it was a garbage fish} but this handsome lil man... he wouldn't even take a picture beside it, as soon as I told him to stand by it so i could snap a photo, he made a run for it. cutest.funniest.thing I have ever seen. now Hubs loves to fish...i never really got it, you sit around with a pole waiting for fish to bite the bait {never understood why people love it so much} but after this trip I realized something its actually very relaxing, and when you think you have something on the other end.. its like christmas morning! you don't know what your getting till you reel it in... {okay okay I admit it, I like fishing...} and we as a family plan to do more fishing, hiking, AND camping this summer..no more of this "hey what are we going to do today?" as we drive around town and eat at restaurants... no sir! our restaurant this summer is in the middle of the woods with stars all around us and a campfire dinner. thats the plan. it sounds kinda blissful. just don't mind the mosquitos and it will be.....Right?...
Welcome summer sunshine.

Jackson Hole Cutter Races

| Check out Jenae Huckins Photography Facebook Page for more Cutter Race photos |
This past weekend Husband and I packed the kids up and headed to the biggest tale gate event in Jackson Hole Wyoming. Hubs had fun making small bets with family, Kiddlets had a blast playing in the snow {which means throwing snowballs at mum} and I, well, very much enjoyed standing right by the fence taking photos of every race. Im the crazy lady with the camera.
needless to say kiddlets would run right up to the fence with me when the announcer would announce with his big announcing voice "AND THEY'RE OFF!" its fun to watch how excited they got when the horses raced by and threw snow chunks up in the air as they passed.
The best part about the cutter races was for sure all the fresh air, dont get much of that fresh air in the winter and it was nice for a change...makes me uber excited for spring and summer where we can take kids to the lake, go camping, hit up all the parks, and of course play in our own backyard.
Cutter Races you will be seeing us in 2014
